Description
The CNR-IBE-CCWF fungi collection is important for biological tests in accordance with European normatives for determining natural durability and effectiveness of wood preservatives. Some fungal species are actually used to built innovative biomaterials based on mycelium and lignocellulosic substrates. Bank collection (DMSZ, FCBA), fungi collected in forest, in situ on wooden structures, etc. Maintainance of fungal strains in agar-malt culture.
