Description
The butterfly collection of Roger Verity (1883-1959) is of particular historical and scientific importance. His collection was obtained by personal collecting, exchanges with other collectors and the purchase of specimens or whole collections, for istance the Ubaldo Rocci's (1885-1943) collection. The Verity collection is undoubtedly one of the most important butterfly collections in Italy.
