    Description
    The museum's bryozoans collection consisted of very few historical specimens until a few years ago. Thanks to the Biodiversità Marina in Toscana (BioMarT) project, it now numbers several hundred specimens belonging to nearly a hundred different species, all from the continental and insular Tuscan seas. The specimens are stored either dry (200), in alcohol (30) or on slides (230).
